Who is Spirals
Aliy Walsingham, MSc
Our lead assessor and creator of Spirals. Aliy is mum to two children and understands the stress’s of having neuro divergent children.
Aliy also works in education, supporting SENCOs and therefore is able to identify the challenges within the system but also offer solutions to support schools.
Aliy has a degree in child and youth studies, a masters in Psychology (GBC) and currently completing a doctorate in educational Psychology.
Aliy has advance ADOS-2 and ADI-r training to research reliability and has trained under the guidance of Susanne Young (Psychology) UK in administering DIVA 5 and Young DIVA 5 as well as QB check.
Aliy consultants with other service to deliver assessments and works within the NICE guidance to ensure all assessment offers the gold standard.
